On January 6th 2021, when those first fateful radio cries went out amongst police and law enforcement, Nancy's passion for politics stirred.  In that moment she vowed to make a stand for democracy and the American way.

I'm a retired Sheriff's Deputy originally from Michigan.  I put myself  through nursing school and have seen first hand the ravages the COVID-19 Pandemic has had on our community.

I'm a working class person, educated in public schools and I grew up in America's heartland and understand our hometown values.  My service with the Sheriff's Department gives me a direct insight into what it takes to create safe communities, beginning with working to move people out of poverty.
